What you need to build the project

Runtime depedencies (thus build time dependencies)

• JDK 1.3 or later from Sun as the development environment.
• The Servlet 2.2 API from Sun (for the Servlet based QZarch search engine)

Build time depedencies

• Ant 1.5 or later as the build environment
• Junit release 3.8.1 for the unit tests (NB! Also a compile depedency for the unit test classes)
• Clover release 1.2 from Cortex for code coverage calculations on the unit tests (NB! Clover is a commercial product but QZarch has an open-source license for it)

Other requirements

• The web-targeted QZarch module requires extracted web applications in the servlet container. The application can not run purely as a .war file in the servlet container for the search engine to work.
• To build the project's web site you need SiteMesh (1.5) and Velocity (1.3.1). These libraries are not provided in the distribution.
